Curtis Australia CORPORATE - Previous Commissions

Curtis Australia created this bronze award for the International Alliance for Human Rights (IAFHR) to raise awareness of the plight of people in Darfur.

The bronze dove flows seamlessly into a cupped hand, that together with the opposite wing symbolize the peaceful, humanitarian work of IAFHR.

With a base of Australian hardwood from a sustainable source and a sterling silver disc with the IAFHR symbol, the award was completed after hundreds of hours of initial modeling, followed by hand finishing.

A limited collection of sterling silver jewellery was also created to stimulate awareness and action for Dafur. The Sterling silver bracelet and pendant feature the ‘Hands of Hope’, which reach out to all corners of the world.
